Convicted Child Sex Offender Attempts to Thwart Deportation by Swallowing Battery

A convicted child sex offender in the United Kingdom has attempted to avoid deportation to his home country of India by swallowing a vape battery, a move a High Court judge described as a deliberate ploy to be hospitalized and delay removal.
