Former Sokoto State Governor and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, has responded to claims of a northern conspiracy against President Bola Tinubu, stating his opposition is based on national, not regional, politics. In a public interview, Tambuwal made it clear he is not part of any clandestine northern plot to unseat the president. However, he declared his unequivocal commitment to seeing the Tinubu administration and the All Progressives Congress (APC) removed from power through the 2027 general elections.
