In a brazen daytime attack, a four-man armed robbery gang targeted a driver on a major road in Ilorin, Kwara State, on Friday, making off with millions of naira and leaving a trail of gunfire and injuries. The incident occurred around 11:00 a.m. along Murtala Muhammed Way, directly opposite the Vanguard Newspaper office. Eyewitnesses reported that the masked assailants, arriving in an ash-colored Toyota Corolla, trailed the victim's grey Toyota Sienna (marked AA 693 GT) to the spot. Details of the Attack The robbers opened fire on the Sienna, deflating two of its left tires and forcing the driver to stop.
