UNN Student Dies After Alleged Mob Beating Over Suspected Phone Theft

A student at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has reportedly died after being brutally beaten by fellow students who accused him of stealing a mobile phone. The incident occurred at the Eni Njoku male hostel on the university campus. According to a social media report by influencer Sen Chijinkem Ugwuanyi, the victim was dragged out and assaulted by other hostel residents, sustaining severe injuries from which he later died.
