A man has been apprehended after being found hiding near the landing gear of a commercial aircraft at the General Tunde Idiagbon International Airport in Ilorin, Kwara State. The incident occurred on Wednesday, December 10, as the aircraft, operated by Overland Airways, was preparing for departure. Security personnel conducting routine ground surveillance noticed unusual movement and quickly detained the individual, later identified as Segun Martins. According to the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Martins gained unauthorized access to the restricted airside area and attempted to position himself near the aircraft's tires. He was removed before the plane could taxi, and operations resumed without disruption or damage to the aircraft.
