Harrison's Lawyer Unleashes Scathing Takedown: 'You Are Not Part of This Case,' Tells VeryDarkMan to 'Go to Law School'

In a dramatic and fiery video statement, the legal representative for the embattled online personality, Harrison Gwamnishu, has launched a scorching rebuke against activist Verydarkman (VDM). The lawyer forcefully condemned what he termed the activist's "audacity" in demanding a public explanation from Harrison regarding his recent arrest and ongoing legal battle.

The blistering address came in response to Verydarkman's persistent public demands for Harrison to disclose details of his police case. The lawyer's central argument was that VDM has no standing in the matter and that his public ultimatums are not only inappropriate but reveal a fundamental misunderstanding of legal procedure.

"Who Are You to Mandate Harrison?"

The core of the lawyer's fury was the perceived arrogance of the activist's demands. "You want Harrison to come and tell you or tell the world what happened at your instance, because you are what?" the lawyer questioned incredulously.

He directly challenged VDM's claim of involvement, pointing out a critical discrepancy: "You claimed to put a call across to the police and Harrison was arrested at your instance, but I never saw you at the police station to write statements to that effect."

The legal representative suggested two possibilities for the activist's behavior: "I think I'm tempted to call you an illiterate. It's either you are an illiterate or your mental health needs to be examined."

A Breakdown of Legal Illiteracy

The lawyer proceeded to dismantle VDM's approach point by point, framing it as a failure to grasp basic legal realities:

1.  The Investigation Report: He stated that if VDM were genuinely part of the case as he claims, he would have "requested the report of the police investigation... and published it to the world on behalf of Harrison."
2.  Police Tactics and Silence: He warned against misinterpreting official silence, noting, "The police is not so nice... Don't think when they being quiet, they are economical to anything." He revealed that Harrison was "hurriedly charged to court" for an alleged offense that is yet to be proven.
3.  The Critical Wait for DPP: The lawyer disclosed the current status, explaining that the case file has been sent to the Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP). "We are waiting for 14 days for the DPP to render an advice whether Harrison has a case to answer or not." He emphasized that this legal limbo is precisely why Harrison cannot speak publicly: "Harrison cannot come out to tell you... what happened... Somebody who don't know whether he is going to stand a trial."

The Ultimate Challenge: "Go to Law School"

In his closing volley, the lawyer issued a stark challenge to the activist, dismissing his self-appointed role. "Who are you to mandate Harrison? You are not a lawyer," he declared.

He then laid down a gauntlet: "If you want to become a lawyer, hurriedly go to the University and obtain a degree, go to Law School, get a call to bar certificate and become a lawyer and apply to represent the family to prosecute Harrison."

Until then, the message was unequivocal: "Stop parading what you are not. You are not part of this case, you know no fact."

The video has since gone viral, igniting fierce debate on social media. Supporters of Harrison applaud the lawyer's firm defense and clarification of the legal process, while supporters of Verydarkman view the statement as an attempt to intimidate and silence public scrutiny. The ball is now in the public court as Nigerians await the DPP's advice and the next move from the ever-vocal Verydarkman.

Sheikh Gumi Alleges Foreign Powers are Financing Terrorists in Nigeria

Prominent Islamic cleric Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has accused unnamed foreign nations of supporting terrorist groups in Nigeria, citing a sudden reversal of security gains in recent months as evidence of external interference. In a significant and provocative claim, Nigerian Islamic scholar Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has alleged that international actors are providing backing to terrorists operating within the country. During an interview with the BBC Hausa Service, Sheikh Gumi pointed to deteriorating security in areas that had shown marked improvement. He specifically highlighted the Abuja-Kaduna highway, which had become safer for travelers, and the farmlands around Birnin Gwari in Kaduna State, where farmers had cautiously returned to their fields after years of abandonment. DSS Arrests Medical Doctor Accused of Supplying Drugs to Kwara Kidnapping Syndicate

Intelligence-led operation in Jebba uncovers healthcare professional allegedly aiding criminal networks. In a significant breakthrough, Nigeria’s Department of State Services (DSS) has apprehended a licensed medical doctor for his alleged role in supporting kidnapping gangs terrorizing parts of Kwara State. The arrest followed a targeted interception in the Jebba area, based on precise intelligence regarding the movement of supplies to criminal elements. According to security officials, the doctor was caught transporting medical provisions from Sokoto State intended for kidnappers operating within Kwara. This development suggests that recent security operations have been effective, leaving some gang members wounded and in urgent need of care. “These criminal networks are becoming increasingly desperate for medical assistance following sustained engagements with security forces,” a DSS official stated.
