Sources Claim Personal, Professional Strains Behind Tuface Idibia's UK Incident with Wife

The recent public altercation between music legend Innocent "Tuface" Idibia and his wife, Natasha, in the United Kingdom has been followed by new, unverified claims from a source close to the singer, alleging deeper marital tensions and professional interference behind the scenes.

New allegations have surfaced in the wake of the widely reported incident involving Nigerian music icon Tuface Idibia and his wife, Natasha, in the United Kingdom. A man identified as a close acquaintance of the singer participated in a live social media session hosted by media personality Daddy Freeze, offering a detailed narrative of what he describes as ongoing personal and professional challenges within the singer's marriage.

The source, whose identity and relationship to the couple have not been independently verified, made several specific claims during the broadcast.

He alleged that a planned high-profile musical collaboration between Tuface and rising star Odumodublvck was thwarted earlier this year. According to his account, Odumodublvck agreed to the collaboration and flew from the United States to Nigeria for the project. Upon his arrival, however, the source claims Natasha Idibia insisted the couple travel to Benin City instead, stating the music work was "getting to Tubaba’s head," which led to the session's cancellation.

The acquaintance further asserted this was part of a pattern, stating, "Whenever Tubaba tried to elevate himself musically, she was always trying to pull him back… she always wanted to keep him under her control."

The individual also recounted an emotional moment he said occurred after Tuface was released by UK authorities following the altercation. He claimed the singer became tearful, expressing that he felt like a "house husband," and stated that Natasha "takes practically everything he has." The source alleges Natasha responded by saying, "whatever belongs to Tubaba belongs to her as well."

Other serious but unsubstantiated claims were made regarding alleged drug use, which the source said could be confirmed through a blood test. He also described an instance where, he alleges, a direct Instagram message from another artist, Spiro, was blocked from reaching Tuface’s phone.

These claims, which are currently circulating on social media platforms, add a new layer of speculation to the story of the couple's UK incident. They have not been commented on by Tuface Idibia, Natasha Idibia, Odumodublvck, or their respective representatives. The allegations present one side of a private marital dispute that has spilled into public view.

The Nigerian public and fans of the veteran musician continue to follow the developments, with many calling for privacy for the family while others dissect the unfolding claims online.

Sheikh Gumi Alleges Foreign Powers are Financing Terrorists in Nigeria

Prominent Islamic cleric Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has accused unnamed foreign nations of supporting terrorist groups in Nigeria, citing a sudden reversal of security gains in recent months as evidence of external interference. In a significant and provocative claim, Nigerian Islamic scholar Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has alleged that international actors are providing backing to terrorists operating within the country. During an interview with the BBC Hausa Service, Sheikh Gumi pointed to deteriorating security in areas that had shown marked improvement. He specifically highlighted the Abuja-Kaduna highway, which had become safer for travelers, and the farmlands around Birnin Gwari in Kaduna State, where farmers had cautiously returned to their fields after years of abandonment. "The situation on the ground contradicts earlier signs of improvement," Gumi stated, arguing that the recent surge in attacks suggests renewed support for armed groups. "This sudden rever...

DSS Arrests Medical Doctor Accused of Supplying Drugs to Kwara Kidnapping Syndicate

Intelligence-led operation in Jebba uncovers healthcare professional allegedly aiding criminal networks. In a significant breakthrough, Nigeria’s Department of State Services (DSS) has apprehended a licensed medical doctor for his alleged role in supporting kidnapping gangs terrorizing parts of Kwara State. The arrest followed a targeted interception in the Jebba area, based on precise intelligence regarding the movement of supplies to criminal elements. According to security officials, the doctor was caught transporting medical provisions from Sokoto State intended for kidnappers operating within Kwara. This development suggests that recent security operations have been effective, leaving some gang members wounded and in urgent need of care. “These criminal networks are becoming increasingly desperate for medical assistance following sustained engagements with security forces,” a DSS official stated. The situation has prompted a security advisory for health fac...
