Lagos 2015: Ikorodu Stakeholders Insist On Governorship Ticket



 
Ikorodu elders and political stakeholders have called on the All Progressives Congress, APC, to zone the 2015 Governorship ticket to the area, even as they have begun an internal screening process for top aspirants from Ikorodu district.

Speaking at a rally in Ikorodu yesterday, the Odofin of Ikorodu, Chief Ademule Shotobi, said it was the turn of Ikorodu District to produce the governor of the State.

In his words: “It is the turn of Ikorodu Division, and the awareness among all indigenes is that nobody can short-change us again.”

Candidates from Ikorodu who are already being pushed forward for the forth-coming governorship election are Mr. Jimi Agbaje, Senator Ganiyu Solomon and Tunde Gbadamosi.
