GEJ, FEC Pay Ttribute To Dora Akunyili

 


President Goodluck Jonathan earlier today led members of the Federal Executive Council to pay special tribute to a former Minister of Information and Communications, Prof. Dora Akunyili, who died in an Indian hospital on Saturday.

At the special tribute session, council members took turn to eulogize the late Akunyili, who was former DG of NAFDAC as well as Minister of Information and Culture.  

A minute silence was thereafter observed in her honour while the Minister of State, Federal Capital Territory, Olajumoke Akinjide; and the Minister of State, Foreign Affairs, Nurudeen Muhammed, prayed for the repose of her soul.
