Two Arrested for attempting to kidnap Yar'Adua's daughter

As men of the underworld who take delight in kidnapping for ransom now target high-profile victims, the State Security Service (SSS), yesterday paraded two suspects, Hamza Abubakar and Lawrence Okoro Dennis, over a plot to kidnap one of the daughters of the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua.

The two men had reportedly met in a jail, where they served time together. Following their meeting, they were said to have planned to kidnap and detain the late president’s daughter in Zuba, at the residence of an acquaintance to Dennis. The two admitted being guilty of the charge preferred against them. Talk about being unrepentant...two men met in jail and decides to kidnap, while serving time?!
