Oscar Pistorius To Begin Psychiatric Evaluation

Oscar 'The Blade Runner' Pistorius, who is presently standing trial for shooting and killing of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, is to undergo a 30-day psychiatric evaluation beginning from next week, the court in South Africa has ordered.

Pistorius is to be assessed as an outpatient, attending the hospital only on weekdays. A panel of psychiatrists will determine whether the champion athlete was criminally culpable for the unfortunate shooting incident.
