Amaechi Speaks On His War With GEJ, Wife

Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State, southern Nigeria, has disclosed that he incurred the wrath of President Goodluck Jonathan because he was seen to be exposing a lot of corrupt activities going on in GEJ's administration.

While speaking in an exclusive interview with The NEWS magazine, Gov. Amaechi gave the impression that the President and his wife can never keep to their promises, recalling how they held several meetings with him begging him to deliver the state to Jonathan during the 2011 presidential election with the promise that they would never trouble him again, a promise they did not keep.
